HerJourney Exceeds Medicare’s Home Health Aide Training Standards (42 CFR § 484.80) and meets or surpasses requirements in most U.S. states.

Our curriculum was originally Medicare (and State of Michigan)-approved in 2011 and has since been enhanced and expanded to exceed federal standards and stay aligned with today’s best practices in home care.

To complete your skills evaluation, you’ll work with a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in your area. HerJourney™ provides everything you need — the official Skills Verification Packet, step-by-step instructions, and simple guidance for both you and your nurse evaluator.

You’ll schedule a time that works for you, complete the hands-on skills, and have your RN sign off on each required task. Once your packet is uploaded inside your course, your HerJourney™ Certification is issued.

You’re supported every step of the way — and you stay in full control of your timeline.

You’ll have 12 months of full access to all modules, videos, workbook chapters, and weekly support sessions. This gives you plenty of time to learn at your own pace — without feeling rushed.

Once you complete and pass the course, you will continue to have lifetime access to your certificate, transcript, and completion records, but access to the training materials will close so we can protect our curriculum and keep the program standards high.
